The son of professional golfers Peter Townsend from England and Lorna Hogan, an Irish model, Townsend was born in Howth, County Dublin. Dylan, his younger sibling, is a performer as well.
Stuart had to wait 13 years for the birth of his younger brother Dylan and 15 years for the birth of his younger sister Chloe Townsend because of his parents’ occupations.
